DCEDC and the DCVB are pleased to present a free workshop on cyber security for Door County business owners.  Michael Polzin and Jason Klein, with  Leeward Business Advisors, will be presenting on the topic of information security and best practices for protecting your business. Their team will cover the importance of prevention methods including tips to avoid social engineering, how to side step common password mistakes, and best practices for employee policies. LeewardBA will also talk about how you can turn security from a business burden into a customer satisfaction opportunity.

Jason Klein has a passion for technology but understands how disruptive technology can be for businesses. Jason has over 15 years’ experience in managing, implementing and consulting around technology. A core goal at all times is to understand how to simplify the complex and enable organizations to properly leverage the right amount of technology for business improvement.
Michael Polzin thrives on entrepreneurial spirit and driving outcomes that can be recognized though business impact. At Allstate Insurance, Michael led numerous projects that revolutionized how Allstate leveraged technology and ultimately conducted business. Microsoft presented Michael the opportunity to take that skillset and work with Global 100 organizations to implement technology and frameworks that enabled them to advance core business initiatives. As an author and contributor to the Microsoft Operations Framework (MOF), Michael has been able to create a guide to moving overall IT maturity within companies large or small.
