More than 350 community and business leaders attended the DCEDC annual investors meeting on Wednesday, April 25, at the Stone Harbor Resort and Conference Center in Sturgeon Bay, making it the most well attended annual meeting in DCEDC history. Keynote speaker Mark Murphy, President/CEO of the Green Bay Packers discussed "Building & Sustaining a Winning Tradition." Wood Orchard was named the Door County Industry of the Year, and Dan Schwarz, owner of Dan's Fish, received the Entrepreneur of the Year Award. The luncheon meeting included Executive Director Bill Chaudoir's report to the community about the activities and accomplishments of DCEDC during 2011. The meeting also included a moving tribute to the late John Collins, founder of C&S Manufacturing and an inaugural member of the DCEDC Board of Directors from 1989-1995
