Information Systems/Land Information Office (GIS/LIO) is
an important research tool that can help you take the next
step.
GIS is a database filled with layers of comprehensive geographically-referenced
data that, combined with digital mapping, provides a clear
picture of the area’s demographics and other key attributes,
such as zoning, taxes, emergency response districts, school
districts, supervisory districts, wards and much more.
Through the Land Information Office (LIO) you can get detailed
legal, economic, or environmental information related to
land, water, groundwater, air, minerals, and fossil fuels.
