Viewpoint Construction Software – With a long-standing focus on the issues and challenges facing contractors, Viewpoint Construction Software has carved out a unique position in the construction management software marketplace. Instead of pointing resources towards the development of generic business solutions, they have focused attention on solving the unique needs of construction professionals. John-Eric Andersson, 920-495-2933 http://www.viewpointcs.com/

Sallinen Distribution – Dan Sallinen is the exclusive distributor of Pepperidge Farms snacks and cookies to retail outlets in Door and Kewaunee Counties, along with several other snack food brands to retailers in an area from Sheboygan and Fond du Lac to Northern Door County. dsallinen@yahoo.com, 920-737-4639.

Padgett Business Solutions – Small businesses in Sturgeon Bay and Green Bay, including all of Door, Brown and Kewaunee Counties, now have access to services including financial reporting, payroll, and tax consulting through a franchise of Padgett Business Services®, owned and operated by Vyto Razminas. Razminas’ Padgett office offers a personalized monthly profit and loss statement, payroll processing, on-going tax planning and business consulting.

Additionally, local company FLS Banners has taken space in the Business Development Center to house new equipment for their business growth, and military contracting consultant Dan McCluskey has taken short-term office space in the incubator.

As of April 30, the Door County Business Development Center will have around 4,000 square feet of light manufacturing space available, along with one interior office of 315 square feet. The Business Development Center helps reduce business start-up overhead costs by offering affordable rents and providing free or low-cost access to shared facilities, services and equipment, including: truck docks; forklift; high-speed internet access, copier, fax and mail services; and a private conference room. Eligible clients include new or young companies looking for support to get a strong start in business.

Center tenants may also qualify for special business incentive and finance programs; low interest loans; business finance training and consulting; tax incentives; and financing eligibility and application assistance. Tenants typically graduate from the Center within three to five years. The center is currently home to fifteen businesses with 55 full time equivalent employees. Eighteen businesses have graduated from the Center to date, creating 80 jobs.
